Hi, thought it was about time I started to use the forum, most people know me as the one who built the 49 Ford Shoebox on airbags(see Custom Car Oct 2006) and then wrote it off at the French Euronats last year. which I sold the remnence of at the southern Swap meet.
A bit about myself, I have been in the Rod scene for nearly 11 years now and have enjoyed every moment of it (well apart from the crash) and have made many new friends, my recent wedding can vouch for that. 10 Hotrods behind the wedding car, surely anyones dream. I live in Horley next to Gatwick Airport and belong to the Mid Surrey Roadsters.
I have been in the motor trade all my working life mainly in car body repairs and restoration and now have my own business carrying out full resprays, welding, panel fabrication and chassis mods. My company name is:

My latest rod is a 55 Chevy Stepside pickup which I am currently building, It has Mustang II on the front with a Ford 9" and four bar link on the rear, 20" rear and 17" front Tourque Thrusts. Power from a modified SBC 350/350, she will be painted in old style colours.
I need to ask some questions on the forum mainly about how to get a V5 as I have no documents only a chassis number.
Hope to have many hours of conversation on the site, that will please the new wife. also I am writing this on an RV site just outside Portland Oregon USA so I have an excuse for being here at 2:30am there must be a lot of imsomniacs out there.
