Hi, A quick intro from me..........
I'm Geoff, Live in Fishponds, Bristol. I'm an aircraft engineer working on warbirds & I own a Harley Davidson Road King Classic hence the name 'harleywarbird'! I already know a coupe of guys on here. I'm a frustrated rodder, as every time I think I've got enough money to get on the bottom rung of the rodding ladder with a rod I find everything has gone up in price by a couple of grand! unfortunately I haven't got anywhere I could build a car so I'm looking to buy something that is already on the road, I don't mind some tidying up but whatever I buy will have to be good mechanically!
I'm looking to sell or swap/PX my Harley for a rod & I value the bike at around 11/12 grand as it is (maybe a bit enthusiastic at that price bit it stands me in more but I'm open to a haggle for the right rod)
I think I'll be looking for a pickup of some sort, 1950 to 65 ish which should be do able I hope! Anyway, I'm at the Griffin pub most Tuesday evenings lurking around with my bike so, If you see me say hello!
