I seem to have lost a box with some of the small parts I need to finish putting my motor together. I need the dizzy drive and the oil filter locating part.
Any got either?

Cheers, Ross.

Yeah Ian, I have 4 blocks and that bit is missing off them all! It bolts on with 3 bolts I believe.
Hoping to get my Audi back next week at latest, then I,ll make a plan to pick up chassis.

Ross, it's two long bolts mate (1/4 unc I think) and it's a GM part. Loads of aftermarket places sell them but with the bypass valve missing. USAutomotive have them at about £20 something or other under part # FA 350.

I have a load of Mr Gasket part # 1270 oil filter conversions for 1957 thru 1967 blocks at a fiver each. I think they will also fit later blocks but after '67 blocks had the part your missing included.

Looks like it could be pre '67 as you need the bypass plate from the canister type filter.
