What is the best polish or wax e.t.c e.t.c to use on satin black.....everything i use either leaves a chalky residue or it just looks not buffed up properly.. even tho' i have been polishing for ages??? PLEASE HELP.....i know its never gonna be shiny and bright but would at leaset like it to look clean ( if ya know what i mean) lol..... Any ideas or help VERY much appreciated.

try meguiars cleaner wax, it comes in a spray liquid form which you just wipe away with a duster, doesnt turn white and you dont get any white powder and you dont need to rub for ages.
or try autoglm express wax, again it comes in a spray bottle - again it doesnt turn white and no white powder - you can go over all surfcaes with both of them as well - ive found both to be pretty good as there is very little rubbing with them - anything for an easy life :)

Any household glass cleaner, the watery type not the old creamy windowlene. Is it primer or paint?

I know the glass cleaner works on primer, give it a try can't see why it shouldn't work. Failing that try Meguiars "Quick detailer"
WD40 would work but I wouldn't like to repaint / blow in afterwards..

thanks gary i'll give that Meguiars "Quick detailer" a try.... and leave the wd40 as a last resort ;-()
