I have a pop which as most people know were never meant to have a full size head unit .. and i didnt want to start cutting holes to take one... so where the old wiper was there is a square hole.. just next to this i have put in an mp3 docking station.... but was having trouble findindg an amp small enough and controllable enough.... However i have now bought one of these.... they are ideal as have Bass/Treble & volume control dials on the front... aslo they are exactly the right size to fit in the wiper motor hole... It was from China and took only 5 days to arrive.. I cant guarantee the seller obviously but personally i have found them 100%.. with no problems or hidden import charges at all..... Hope this may be of use to some of you..

Ted told me about this earlier today, now have one enroute to go in the Ditchfinder General. For basically a Tenner not expecting top quality but for the job it is ideally priced.

Nice one Ted!

Looks like a good way to play an ipod if your stero doesn't take it. Splice into the speakers and your away. Good for the garage as well from a 12 volt charger or battery.

Spooky !!! A mate told me about these last week, mine was £7 plus £10 postage from Hong Kong, took three days to get here and it's fantastic !! Me n Susie are ordering 4 more !!!

Got the first one in the garage for my ipod and some housespeakers, drowns the grinder out !!!

Tried it with one 6 x 9 in the house and shouted to Susie, "ya reckon this is loud enough for a car?" , after an odd look I realised it probably was ...........

It doesn't get hot either.

Just ordered one. I bought one of those DAB things that plug into your stereo, total poo. I hope the reception it has (or the lack of it) is due to interference from a plug socket nearby as it's crap. Moving it somewhere else may mean the neighbours 2 streets away enjoy planet rock from 8am to 9pm every day!

Looks good, I love the Hi Fi marketing mathematics in the Ebay description though -output 180+180 Watts. Input 12v 6A -so that's 72 Watts in, and 360 Watts out. perpetual motion lives!

But still a bargain at that price.

I think these are from the Electronics Market in Shanghai (near the station) and are about £3. I'll speak to a friend over there later and see if I can a direct supply address.

I bought a couple last time I was in Shanghai. They're fine if you're not an Audiophile and more than good enough to play an iPod through. There's an optional mains adapter so you can set one up in the workshop if you want to.

Hmmm, comes up as 'invalid item'. Anybody got a link? I'd like to have a look see if they'd be okay for my rod and my garage.

had mine now for ages and no problems whatsoever all i did do was fit a surpressor to eliminate the eNgine noise... they are brilliant value and small enuff to fit almost anywhere.. and there are lights around the large volume knob that flash with the music.... mmmmmmmm simples.. lol AND AS PAUL SAYS THEY ARRIVE VERY QUICKLY.... just make sure you wire it up corectly or you may have to order another... HEY PAUL..LOL

As said this is the same one as i have.. it has a mini jack input for mp3 player and has push and click speaker outputs.. it comes with the power lead which has a standard red+black wire set up.... The only thing i would say is that when i installed mine it picked up a bit of engine noise so i fitted a standard surpressor and now has no engine noise whatsoever... BIGTED. X

Thanks all, there are loads of 'em on ePay, so may give one a try. 'Course, I'll have to invest in a bigger MP3 player then...
