as per the rules , I would like to introduce myself ;)

my name is Ernie Wood , I live in Stockport near Manchester
I used to work for BAe Systems ( British Aerospace , Hawker Siddeley )
yep been there that long !!! 33 years :eek: !!!!
then got made redundant about 3 years ago , now my long suffering wife Liz keeps me :) the only down side to that is I have to do a bit more around the house and get "spends" instead of wages ,
no don't knock it , it suits me just fine

until I want to change my car that is , which brings me nicely onto cars

Confession time !!! I have been a VW nut for 35 years so know a wee bit about VW's having owned a few in that time , but sadly I have to admit very little about Hotrods
but
feel the need to change all that and try the Hotrod scene , so here I am

I am seriously looking for a "nice" Hotrod and have some cash hidden away
and a few toys to sell or p/ex if anyone fancies a deal ;)

I hope that is OK for my intro
I will list what I have tucked away in the garage and quite happy to sell the lot for the right "rod"

I have a young grandson called Joe and started buying pedal cars for him
and a very good friend of mine signed me up on a VW forum and came up with that name and it has kinda stuck

is it OK to put a few pics up of "our" pedal cars

very sorry everyone , I've got off on the wrong foot :o

I got a wee bit carried away with the excitement of the replies to my first Hotrod wanted ad and the possiblity of any early purchase and thought I was still on the VZi forum , where almost anything goes :rolleyes:

This resulted in me braking quite a few rules all in one day :eek:
not intentionally I might ad , I just simply got carried away with it all
Thankfully a couple of moderators took the time to explain my "mistakes"
in a very nice way and have guided me on future ads , thanks guys ;)
