Hi folks. My name is Stuart Ketchin, I’m 48 and a total newbie so please be gentle. I have only been into cars for the last few years, must be some sort of mid life crisis. Suddenly realised what I was missing. I have come over to rodding via VWs. I can hear some groans :o but attending VW events was what gave me my first exposure to hot rods. I have been lurking for a while and reading Custom Car avidly but I still have tons to learn. For starters I need to learn how to weld. Thought it was time to join the forum proper now that I have bought a Ford Pop. My Pop is a 1956 and is completely stock at the moment. I’ll be running her as is for now as I’ve just about expended my budget but I’m hoping to do things with her as time and money allows. Currently have the engine out for an overhaul to fix an oil leak but she was running well before that so a few new gaskets and a spruce up should be all that is needed. Anyway, hope to join in as best I can on the forum and may be asking several stupid questions in the near future especially on the Popular Front section so please bear with me. I’ve pictured my cars below.

Cheers,

Stuart
