Looking to insure my garage and contents separately, ie tools, compressor, spares,etc, any recommendations?

Did mine as an extension of our house ins. pretty cheap really.

Did you have any problems with that Steve, whenever |I mention it there is always a large intake of breath followed by NO !
It seems it helps if you are self employed, I'm not and have not had any joy yet, who are you with?

No problems Neil but i've never had to claim. Its with Halifax home ins.

I got mine tacked onto the house insurance. The building is already covered as part of the main insurance, but the contents cost an extra £20 a year.

I keep meaning to do a detailed list of all my tools, welders, etc but haven't got my finger out yet. I'm sure it'll look a lot better if ever there were a fire or theft and I need to claim.
