morning, just signing in, again.
i had an account before, but im a bit of a pleb and cant managed to remember a username AND password, so have had to start again!
i will post some pics of my rides when i get round to taking some!

im Dez Stringer, 23, currently near colchester.
ive got about a dozen vehicles that are complete enough to actually be called cars.

my baby/long term project is, as the name may suggest, a '28 sedan, chassis is a total one off build by yours truly, usuing stock A front and rear crossmembers, and a lot of 2x4 box section!
13" rear kick, 4" front step, and taper from 3" over axle to 5" at firewall. VCW 4" dropped i beam
heavily reworked and reshaped E83W split 'bones
posies reverse eye spring
'53 F100 front brakes + wheels, 6.70x15 blackwall X-plys
'59 galaxie 9" rear axle
15x6 reverse rims made by me on the rear, 8.90x15 blackwall X-plys
original steel '28 sedan body, chopped 5.5" and channelled 4.5"
RHD '60 impala dash
cowl steer using a VW baywindow van steering box, with lengthened output shaft, column made up from a variety of VW bits from the '50s to the '70s, topped off with a grant 3 spoke.
no motor in it at the moment- i had a rover but wasnt happy with it so sold it on. not sure what it will be running yet!

im currently about 18months into the rebuild since i bought it, and its just back on its wheels, in that time its seen me chop it 5.5" and channel it 4.5", scratchbuild a new chassis, change more than half the components it came with, and generally **** about with it a lot. ile post up my build dairy of that when i get time, and when ive taken some more pictures.

i also own a '64 pontiac parisienne
ive also just re-bought this, i owned it 2 years ago and its now mine again. '64 pontiac parisienne, which for those of you who dont know is basically a 4 door pontiac body on impala running gear, so you get the best of both worlds ;-)
it has 4 pump, 6 battery hydraulic suspension, and a 283sbc and 2 speed iron-glide. ive got a later 10-bolt axle waiting to go on to change the gear ratio, and it suffered some vandalism with its previous owner which has lead to me doing a rear screen graft on it,

also got a '49 beetle with 7" roof chop thatll be getting a rover v8, pop i-beam and a chevy rear axle when i get round to it.

everything else isnt really nsra friendly, my daily driver is another lowrider, an airbagged 1990 vauxhall senator, and ive built a couple of pretty good hotrod beetles in the last year, chopped, channelled and tubbed. ile post pics if anyones interested.
