What a brilliant weekend, well done to the NSRA. :)
Great atmosphere, Great cars, Great Cruise... just Great! loved it!
And the evening entertainment? (which i was ever so slightly critical of after Billing... ok then, it was complete **** at Billing)... i couldnt fault it this weekend!! Two quality nights of entertainment... nice one!
I still cant quite get my head round how most people choose to listen to the bands from outside the Marquee but there was still plenty of audience support for the bands. Maybe most Hot rodders dont like to go home with a hoarse voice from 'talking' over the band.
Thanks to the NSRA.
My only critisism... my camera wouldnt work so sorry, ive got no photos... please sort that out for next year :D

Another great weekend organised by the NSRA Crew, thank you. The new registration layout was really good offering a great improvement in security, and in view of the problems at other motoring events was very much appreciated. The presence of a greater level of security was felt, but more importantly to members was not in our face with Hi-Viz jackets at every turn.

The Saturday night band were superb musicians, trouble was nobody could appreciate that fact. I had listened to the set from the start, they were doing some great stuff but it just did not sound right. I made my way to the front and saw what the problem was, the mixing desk was up on the stage to the right and behind most of the band. Best place to listen? At one of the openings to the right of stage, great shame because the majority of people who would have bothered to listen to them could not hear how good they were, as they were to the left of the stage.

Still once again a great weekend organsied by some very hard working people. Thank you.

Picked up loads of parts and bought even more (almost a small van full) thanks to Geordie, Kerry, Russ pepper and Langy, I don't know what we'd do without these people. Thanks fella's!!!
Then driving home through NSRA, Rally ot giants and mopar nats traffic, today was bliss even tho I weren't in my rod:cool:

Blinding weekend, congrats to all involved for the hard work it must have taken to organise

Nice to put faces to many of the names on here, also many thanks for all the positive comments & some sound suspension advice on the van, couldnt meet a nicer bunch of people

Rushed to get it back on the trailor to get to my nippers party and was out before the mass exit..

But, in a senior moment, I managed leave both front doors behind on the field where it was parked!

Did anyone come across a pair of glass Fordson doors looking lost?

Boy does that sun tan nip tonight eh?

Fantastic weekend at the NSRA Super Nats, the weather helped as the it made nights special ,being able to be outside to see and talk to everyone, while having a few cars parked there and the music for background to set the atmosphere was brilliant, and the marque open late too.
Even though i got there early on the Friday, the three days just flew by.
Well done to all involved (the Crew leaving, and those stepping up to the plate to form the new Crew)who sacrifice so much of their time and working in all weather conditions so these events can take place,i really do not know how they do it,i get fed up just putting up and taking down my own tent !!

At the prize giving well deserved applause went to the long serving NSRA Crew who are leaving at the end of this season,in what has to be said a moving moment, well presented by, now considered our own, John Price.

Had a great weekend as usual and totally trouble free which is a tad annoying seeing every other year SOMETHING bad has happened yet I build a car for my wife and it runs sweet all weekend!!!!

Paula loved it having her own car to drive and clean.:D

She can't wait for Ipswich now (once I have raised her diff to give more than 62mph)..

I going to have to apologies to Elmo now, he always takes his off when he cant keep an eye on his "parachute tag". Mind you some kids tried to steel his dice dusk caps outside Krispy Kremes.... but like Jas said it bit sad when you know it is someone who was there all weekend......shame they didnt just go and see Danny Chevy Parts and buy their own....

nasty and pathetic comes to mind, if the "person" who did it is reading this, just stop and think how would you feel if you had a "fun" tag on your car and someone took it... like it is said it is only a cheap thing, anyone attending the weekend could afford one .....

Had a great time. Nice, chilled atmosphere despite the soaring temps.

Didn't miss the gangs of chavs in chavmobiles or the other lot that typically drive tarmac stained transits. OK, the OW site isn't 100% closed to outsiders but i don't see the model aeroplane lot as a major threat to our wellbeing :D.

Thanks to all those involved in making this happen :D.

What they all said, plus, can you turn the temp down a bit next year or plant a few more trees???

Oh & make sure the cruise route is over some smoother roads, poor old Susie had a very bumpy ride for her last run out in a rod before jetting off to Japan for 2 years (& she was suffering slightly from the previous night's partying!!).

The crew, both old and new, are now all home after clearing things up today and we would just like to thank you all, the participants, for making the weekend what it was.
All we do is put up a few fences and signs, but it is you lot who make it all worthwhile.
Many of us old ones have strange feelings right now, with it being the last time we'll be sorting things out, and we really wish all the new guys and gals all the best for next year.
All we ask is that you support them like you have us, we couldn't have done any of it without you.

Their club reps sneaked in under the fence to have a look at the cars late on Saturday but like you said, no threat, just wanted to see the 'cool cars' after a long day on their club stand.
