A Supernats thread of some Renown.

I would first, of course, like to thank the NSRA team for all the hard work they put in to make it a great weekend.
Thanks to Mark and his team at Power and Performance for getting my Triumph Renown to a roadworthy state so I could go. My first drive was late Thursday evening, followed my the Friday trip down with Pete, (twin turbo Morris 14), Graham, (V8 Morris 8) and Keith & Jack, ('32 coupe).
Sadly I was not feeling well on Sunday (not alchahol related) and had to leave early, and was stunned to discover the car had won a top 10 trophy. I had received many kind comments about the car over the weekend but this was far more than I had expected.
The trophy was picked up by Mark, which seems appropriate anyway.
Thanks again to everyone for a great weekend.

The term was 'Razoredge' I believe.

Whilst we don't always sit well with owners clubs, I joined the Razoredge club when I first bought the car. They know what I am doing, have been very helpful with new trim and odd bits that were missing, have already put a 2 page 'in progress' article in their club magazine, and will be printing the update with latest photos taken at the Supernats in the October issue.
If only more classic car clubs were like this.

Triumph's "razoredge" styling was always controversial. Works much better on the larger Renown IMO. I always thought it didn't work scaled down...

I'm a member of the Wolseley 6/80 and MO club and they are pretty good about modified stuff.

Bob's pale green rod, is a Triumph Renown. The restored one next to it is a Renown.

I think the red one and the dark green rodded one are Mayflowers.
