pop rad recore

Hi all, iv'e put this here and not in tec section as i'm more interested in cost's:o
i'm sure alot have had rads recored for rover v8's, would a normal rad company do this and a ball park price they charge would be helpfull

I get them done for between £150-£200 by a small local firm. This price is probally gonna rise due to the price of metal.

I had a local firm recore a rad to the ORIGINAL spec,3 row GOT core,cost £140-150 if i remember rightly.
best bet would be to phone a few local companies,for a quote.

That spec will cool a Rover no probs even up to a stock / mild small block.I can get it done down here probably about £120 plus VAT ( £140 ish all in )
If it's the one in your A it may be fine as is , just need a flow and leak test before you plumb it in,I can get that done for free.
