I'm frantically making some fenders for the trip, booked tomorrow off and fingers crossed for good weather. Don't mind getting wet just don't wanna get a tug for no fenders.
My big Sis lives at Send, not far away so if not camping have a second option.
Wife's gone away for the weekend to Harwich (a family thing) so I can be on my worst behaviour :)

The amount of blood depends on how much you struggle............

We're going. Been to them all. We'll be debuting the Model Y. The longest road trip its taken in about 40 years. It is currently having the tracking done.

Today I bought some wellies as I don't want a repeat of the trenchfoot I got last year at Romsey.

It's a 10 am start for us from nearby West Sussex but only because we don't think the car will cope over 40mph!:p

Have asked The Husband, and no, he's not done a thread on Jimmy. Jimmy is not finished yet. But there is an interesting story behind how we got him, which may get told on here at some point.

Not missed one yet and intend to carry on that way. Got to be the best traditional style run on our shores, great cars , great music and entertainment and great people, oh and there will be some executioners there too apparently :)

Just come in from the garage after making a new ragtop for the T (well Bev has), Bevs driving it down tomorrow and I'll be in the stepside with the caravan on tow.
Hope the weather breaks, as its furking persisting down out there at the moment !!!!! But we are 150 miles away.

Niky the husband you mention is the bloke who done the tracking he didnt "get it done" and the Y is happy over 40 i followed it at 60 plus in me F100, the only speed related issue is with the draft it would blow your frock up and chill your ankles!

after spending some quality time in hospital this last week and under strict instructions to rest and definitely no camping it looks like its gonna be an expensive day out tomorrow....but i intend to enjoy it...i`ll be the one totally spaced out on painkillers and dribbling a lot

Ha! Yes, he didn't get it done, he put the bonnet on instead! Yes, we weren't sure if it would hit 60 or not...but it seemed ok! Had a bit of trouble getting up hills though but that may have more to do with how much stuff we managed to get in the back!

My ankles get chilled anyway as there ain't no proper bottoms to the doors and there are holes near my feet....not to mention how wet I get when it rains!!

and I know who you are as well young man!!!!!!:)

We had no problems with the car until we pulled up at home....when he just cut out....he must of known he was home!! He was fine after a little rest and is now back at the workshop. Not bad for his first major roadtrip for 40 years.
