My name is Rog and i live in South East London At present I drive a 73 Karmann Ghia ,it runs a turbo engine and pro street box. At the moment am looking to get a yank motor as i am a bit bored with vw's....and looking for a change. Currently a member of the Der Panzer Paintscrapers who have won a couple of 'best of show' club displays this year :D
the dvd 'hot rod havoc' has given me the push to find a rod...

Hi PC, sure, well I have always been a big fan of jalopy style rods from the early days, also big into the mercury , sled look , anything thats slammed is a good start... I follow alot of the stuff that Jesse James puts out, I think alot of this has to do with his interest in VW's and the rod scene... from the building of Sour Krout early 50's beetle to his sled and rods
Most of my time with cars has been mainly a vintage VW or an american 4x4 (explorer, navigators)(I lived in the states for a good few years you see ) , thought about building a Volksrod but its still a VW and I would like something different or more radical...
Joining here is a big learning curve and you can expect alot of questions , i will try not to become to much though...lol

yes i visited a couple of times when i had my beetle.

Anton invited some of us from Hazzard vw,so i came to be nosy:)

yes 11 volkswagens......he is having a clearout now tho,but im guessing it wont take him long to replenish his collection.
