Must be at least 150 amps, and cheap please!!!!

I know, I know.....

Preferably fairly close to Leicester too, or else the 'cheapness' goes out of the window....!!!!

If there is no response, where can I get a 'good' new one from, again, reasonably cheaply?????

I need to get the pop finished....;)

What do you call 'cheap' Guy?
If you buy a second hand one 'cheap' you'll more than likely have to keep getting it repaired.
Theres a place on that industrial estate, were you sent me to get the prop done, that does reasonably priced welders, its were I got mine from (180 amp) touch wood its never let me down.

avoid SIP and it's re-branded equivilents, plastic liners, rubbish torch, poor duty cycle, poor wire feed, generally crap.

Thats anything from Machine Mart and Snap-On. Better off buying a used decent make than a cheap new one.

Erm, no, unless you count losing about 1/2 a stone in weight...!!!

Plus two slingshots, but I would have to lose more than that to drive them....!!!!

I plan to rent a 180 pretty soon. OK, because it's by the day it does mean getting all your heavier stuff cut and prepared, tacked up etc (I got a 100 for lighter stuff).

Then you can weld the whole lot in one weekend, which is nice.
(Mind, you may get a visit by the illegal substances police due to the high domestic electric usage).

But hey, 40 quid rent compared to 300 quid outlay sounds good to me.
