Hi there
Who's the best person to talk to at Kingstown please
Has anyone got them to transport a car to a port in the US?
Potentially need a car picking up from Rhode island to Newark NJ and then back here, would appreciate any feedback before calling them.
Cheers
Al

As it's coming from the East Coast, have a word with Russ Pepper (39coupe) as he ships from there every 6 weeks or so, his number is 07980 416785

I've used them to transport & ship a car from the US.
Worked out about $1 a mile. I dealt with Mark. Very good, advises about getting documentation in order etc.

I used Kingstown through John Kulin Golden Chariots International tel 01902 790797, never shipped car before and car had to be moved to docks which was arranged on my behalf by John, he dealt with all paper work and is always available to chat to when things get confusing or need sorting out, my car came from New Jersey so used same port as you are talking about, would use him again cheers Andy Good luck

Thanks folks, appreciate the info.
Adam, will do, just weighing up the options as it may have to come from Canada

al if you do buy from canada depending on whar povince its in all depends on cost ontario is the nearest to new york and dont forget the size of the country the provinces are bigger than britain you could fit great britan into lake ontario and not even see it bear that in mind when your looking at car transport into new jersey its lots of miles =lots of dollars as you dont want to ship from canada as it involves the st lawrence seaway
not cost effective
buy states side if you can find what you want
also the canadien dollar is not worth as much as the us

Thanks scrap yard dog, the bottom line is that I have a relative near Toronto who's a car dealer who can get me exactly the late model or new motor I want, trade prices, no risk involved as he's a top bloke. Or... I can take my chances on ebay or autotrader etc on a car nearer an eastern US Port. It boils down to a choice of cheaper car, dearer shipping and no risk or dearer car, cheaper shipping at risk. I'm really nervous about ebay with that much money involved.
