has anyone got a 350chevy engine and 350 box,only need it for mock up purposes so does not have to be a runner,any help appreciated... baz

Barry, any post '57 small block will have side engine and front mounts so that can be used for mocking up instead of a 350 engine so don't limit yourself to that. The 55-57 ones only had front mounts. I have a 4 bolt block you could borrow mate as I am not going to build it for a few months but I'm right up here in St Albans. Ask on eurodragster if anyone has a blown knackered box. An empty one weighs about 20lb.

thanks adam,i am not really worried what chevy engine it is but i will need one that i can get a direct replacement crate engine..thanks for the offer of a loan one but i think i need to buy one in case i take a little longer to build the truck ..like you do lol..cheers mate barry

Like I said Barry a crate engine will be a direct physical replacement for ANY small block with side mounts. Doesnt matter what year or displacement it is they are all the same from '58 up to about '91 if all you want to do is mock one up.

I have a 350 block here and possible a bare TH350 case. The block has a crack in it so it's no good to me, I use it for mocking up but I have others. £25 do you? Let me know. I'll check on the TH350. In Hants too!!
