That's Shady Side in North Carolina - one of the last run for money tracks. As you can see not sanctioned and minimal safety! Lots of cash betting. I heard that they had been shut down but maybe not

I was amazed at the quite open trackside betting at the world street finals in Orlando .

The guy that test drove my new car prior to me buying it was telling me that he wont go full throttle with his street car at the track as he regularly races on the street for cash.

He has to my knowledge gone 9.90s at West Palm and Im told he recently picked up $3500.00 in a street race on a quarter mile race on a road near my house.

It seems to be a major factor for a lot of these guys.
