Have just found this site which tells you if your car is still on the Motor Insurance Database

Other sites you can use are listed in kapri`s DVLA INFO and links

which incudes the DVLA site:

Another couple of sites I know about include:
http://www.hpicheck.com/newfrontend/ and I think EBAY plus I`m sure there is another one but I cant seem to find the link for it.
Does anyone know any others?
