My good friend bronx Brian, all round hot rodder builder extradonaire, has just finished this 32 roadster, he asked me to post it in the UK to see if there was any interest.............if I had the money it would be in my garage NOW!
I'll let Brian explain..........
The cleanest original '32 Roadster body I have ever had in my possession, almost hate to let it go, but it's cold here in NYC and I've got a '32 coupe to build. The paint that is on the body is the original paint that was on the car when I got it. I just sanded it lightly with a fine sand paper and rubbed it with a compound to get some of the original shine back. It's not perfect but it sure does look cool. The frame is made from American Stamping Rails. It is fully boxed from the front cross member to the back cross member, pinched in up front to follow the hood and the horns are bobbed off. 1933/ '33 Front Axle with a new posies super slide spring. 1940 Ford brakes up front, new shoes and wheels cylinders. Pete and Jake's hydraulic clutch / brake pedal assembly, all new brake lines, brake hoses, and Wilwood residual pressure valves.
1949 Ford Flathead, Offy heads, 2x2 Offy intake with two rebuilt Ford 94's. All new fuel lines and wiring. 1949 Ford transmission and rear (all from the same donor car). New wheel cylinders on the rear brakes.
The body is original, the grille shell and grille insert are made by Vintique, the Trunk Lid and Dash are made by Brookville. All painted with black lacquer and rubbed out by hand to match the body. Brand new Walker Radiator, Stewart Warner gauges, everything is hooked up and works properly. Original Guide Lite headlights, they still have the tags and the original paint. Wooden Floor up front, full interior done in olive drab/ army green. 1940 Ford spring in the back, the rear wish bones are out of a '34 Ford and have an extra bar running along the top for added strength (like a hair pin/ ladder bar, while still retaining the look of an original wishbone from the bottom side)... Friction shocks at all four corners.
The car will have a clean U.S. title..
Thats his description of the vehicle...........
If anybody is seriously interested then they can email me for pics shircon264@aol.com, the price is $65k which doesnt include any duties of shipping.
