(I'm posting this to gauge response)
This weekend i decided to make a cowl vent for my roadster using my sedan cowl vent as reference.
It is copied as much as possible to look exactly like an original including the swageline, curve, brackets and measurements.
The next stage is to take a moulding off the recessed cowl channel and to make a fibreglass one that can be fixed to the inside of the roadster.
I didn't have any idea if this would work, but i'm pleased as to how its turning out. So rather than make up jigs and moulds for a one off, i'm going to sell these as kits that can be fitted to any glass 32.
The kits will include a steel cowl vent, rachet, brackets, fibreglass rain channel/seal and chrome lever handle. I'll post some more pictures as i progress and you'll see what you get.
If you are interested in having a cowl vent kit, send me a PM or email me mkchave@yahoo dot co dot uk.
