Long Island Exchange, Rickmansworth - mid 80s

I posted some of these once before but this seems like a good place to post them again.

They were taken at the Long Island Exchange (IIRC) in Rickmansworth in the mid 80s. Some well known cars, some not so well known.

(Some of the pics are not great and some of them are of classic yank tin. I'm including these though as I think there may be one or two folk having those 'My god that's my old....' moments)

I went a couple of times...good times...I saw Bernie's coupe, it was a stunner....whatever happened to it?

Are the pictures of the 'Bad Ass Chevy' and the shot below the same car? They look like it. The lower shot is Mike Halls old 55. If I'm correct then the Bad Ass was pro streeted by Wayne Gates but I didn't realise it was Mike's old car? I even drove Wayne's car when he was thinking of selling it a few years back and did not realise. Sadly for me he chose to keep it but has done a full rebuild. Haven't seen it but certainly heard it when he decided to announce it's completion in a very loud way going past my old house earlier this year!
If I've got this right I am staggered that I came within a touch of owning Mike's old car.

Yes, they are pics of the same car. Besides my remembering taking the pics, you can see the same harnesses over the seats and the tach on the dash.

Boy don,t remember that at all, must have been there as my Pop 962 PVX is there, must be an age thing Lol.
Remember taking Small Fry there to one of the Vittle Inn events i believe, or was that Calenders in Watford?
