The Riley was a local car from Hayling Island, GRP would you believe ?! Apparently last heard of outrunning border guards in Europe somewhere...allegedly:)
Didn't make it to that run,car was still underway ,didn't miss the next one though.

I vaguely remember going to a rod run somewhere along the South Coast at a country club, near Bognor I think. Jago was there with his pickup truck as well as a few other Model Ts. I really must dig out my old pics & scan them.
