Great pics, first one is my old Plymouth 5 window, think its Billing as I don't think I ever managed to get to Knebworth with it.
Must dig out and scan my old photos

The only picture with a 'road' in it shows Dave Haskell's 34 5 window and it doesn't look like Billing to me but I could be wrong. The only time I recall seeing the ex John Wilkinson 32 Tudor (OO1932) at a run in its 'Detroit Clothing Company' livery, looking like an aged yellow cab, was at Knebworth. The Detroit Clothing Company had a chain of high street fashion shops that featured glass 32's as store props (mostly built by the Street Machine magazine tech guy who's name now escapes me). Bit like the recent US stores (Old Navy?) but we did it back in the 80's.

I bought the gold and brown 32 5 window many years after this photo was taken and the only thing different was that the spinners were missing. It was first registered in 1983 so it must have been new out when this was taken!!

Do you mean the 5th pic down, if so, its a Riley with blown Rover which was owned by Andy Wright who is now crew chief for Bert Englefields 1938 Ford Pro Mod.
Thats me with the beer beside him, wish I was still that thin now.

It looks like a Riley 1.5 or Wolseley 1500. There was one yonks ago with a roof chop and a Daimler V8.
Same car????

Keith Andrews , now works at Burnham Autos.
Reckon the 'road' shot is at Kneebworth when the Nationals ( not S/nats ) was held there

Nah, definitely Billing, the only road bits at Knebworth are either the approach road which has a slope or the return which has trees both sides. That looks like the entrance road to the showfield, slightly higher than the field. Then again, I could be wrong!!!

I too think its Billing, if you look at the top left corner of windscreen of my old Plymouth you can just make out the Billing Fun Run showfield entry slip.
Again Kim, they look like a mix of Billing and Knebworth!.
There were no buildings by the show field at Knebworth (now the field with the kiddies fort). But the Plymouth pic has a building top left behind the coupe.
The pic with Dave`s `34 looks like the entrance to the show field at Billing (now tarmaced over), the road running left to right in the distance by the caravans has the shower block to the left, and the canal to the right. [edit] just seen your posting above Mo, same thoughts.
But lastly, Spat`s `32 photo, again looks like Knebworth with it`s uneven ground and coarse grass and typical Knebworth tree line...

I was just getting shoots of cars I liked, never thought to make note of the date and event (like I would forget 20+ years later...??).

Sadly no, sold it on 8 years ago as had a young family and it only had two seats!! ;o(
Worst thing I ever did as it was as reliable as heck and I even used it as a daily for 6 months when I moved to Essex. Only saw it once again after I sold it.
One of those 'I wish I hadn't done that' moments!!

Same here, I have loads of pics but no info at all, although some have dates written on & they are mostly 70s onwards (when my wife would have been in charge of organising our lives!!)[B)]
