Went to see Ken Robbins last weekend and came home with a huuuuge box of slides to sort out and put on my web site. Thought you might like to see these taken during the shooting of Shutdown in '77.............. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img367.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img368.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img369.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img370.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img372.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img373.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img374.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img375.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img376.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img377.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img380.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img381.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img385.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img386.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img387.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img388.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img389.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img390.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img391.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img393.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img394.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m149/timetraveldvds/img395.jpg

Fantastic pics, bringing back all the memories.

I remember where most of the cars were parked too!

My old Pop, Vanilla Olay looked new there!

I grenaded the clutch trying to do a burnout leaving the car park.......

Now all we have to do is track down the actual film!!!!

Cheers Ken & Nick

http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/103270 and also
http://www.citwf.com/film319216.htm
both list the film as 1978 made by a company called Wispend and possibly distributed
through GTO Films, but haven't found any current info on either yet.
one of the actors (in the plymouth) is listed as Brian Godber this rings bells with me but don't know why? anyone know who this? Glenn

just researched some more and have sent a email to the man that set up/owns GTO films and asked him the obvious questions
Glenn "internet detective"

Brian Godber was the co-star, along with Tim Cook, of Americar fame.

Brian was famous for his Trike & Moggy Van etc etc.

One of Tim's lines was "I'm gonna blow yer doors off", but the first take, it came out as "I'm gonna blow yer draws off"..........

My line "Hi, how's it going?" was cut from the finished film, the swines!

That's because you've seen his name in the title of another thread on this forum about one of his cars!:)

i have an answer from Laurence Myers already, if i hear anything in the future i will pass it on Glenn
this is what he said--

"I did have a company, GTO, which distributed Shut Down. Unfortunately I have no idea where you can get a copy. Coincidentally I am clearing out some storage boxes in the new year and if I come across anything that will help you, I will let you know. Lm"
