Loved that granada, it was one of the skinner brothers cars (taz racing fiat 126) here it is at gravesend boiling its hides circa 80 or 81, whered it go??

Wonder what ever happened to this...?

This was owned by Jeff Lambert, but it looks like this might have been taken just after he sold it, I remember the night I saw this up there I was also either on or around the roundabout at the time in my 55 Mercury at the time, but I dont ever remember seeing Jeff up there...?:)

Now found pic of Consul pick up,looks mostly the same but with a visor,front bumper n overiders and differant reg 443 XTW.Like i mentioned earlier this was 5-6 years ago,so wheres it now?.Sorry cant put on here as problem with scanner.

Yep had a 351 c in it, also had the noisest locker I have ever heard, I think it was made from a Farnham estate, and possibly the rear window too, or the rear tailgate was from a scrapped Farnham, Im sure the car is still about, as somebody on another site was asking if their "UTE" was original, I also think there were some fairly recent pics of it in Classic Ford mag, BTW it cant be Jeff driving it, the fella can see over the steering wheel!!!!

this was at a local essex cruise night (braintree) about 5 years back,had a chopper mini moto type thing in the back :)

pickup was a 351 and the owner was a bloke called roger, big mk2 fan he had a restored zodiac as well, think his son used to use the pickup, they also bought a red 351w powered mk2 zodiac from my mate mark many years ago. think they may have been over catford way, roger was killed in an work related accident a few years ago dont know if his family still have the car?

I was sure I saw the pickup regularly parked on the way to Elmers End from Crystal Palace near the (now gone) Robin Hood garage

According to dvla its been off the road since 2002,also the engine size hasnt been changed

For those who like roundabouts taken the same day as my earlier shots
My Gt Cortina Mlk1 is parked on the rounabout in the background ,this car sadly passed away last year after a long battle with rust and was originally my brothers car until 2005(he left it outside from 1989)

The herald was the one used for the levi commercial in the 80s
The Jacked up mk4 Cortina ,i saw last year at a Bromley Custom car show still exactly the same as in 1988 !!

good to see the pics of Chelsea coming on here,did you ever go to Southend Cruise the second Saturday of the month.
That Herald had a Rover V8 and wide wide rear archs,must of been stock width IRS.
Is there any pics of the MK4 Cortina now
