Hiya really desperate for ANY info on my dads old car, a metalflake blue mk1 cortina with ford v6. think it run slot mags backin the day with general grabber tyres. had a white vinyl roof with a webasto sunroof. the car originally had thrust side pipes but i understand my dad removed them and run two out the back. the defining feature of this car was the plate KFK1D which dad re-spaced to KF K1D (california kid to those with imaginations!) would often be seen at the chelsea cruise, or driving around islington or harrow area,maybe cornwall from time to time.
he sold the car off for what in todays money seems daylight robbery cheap and i know deep down he'd love to know the cars fate after him.
theres a strong possibilty the plate was sold to a guy with a 4x4 as was seen on the a1 i believe about 6 years ago.but i cannot be 100% about that!
alls well since though,just bought him a 1953 pop as unfinished project,more details to follow- etched glass reading "my snake is alive and ready to bite" ring any bells either?
