My car was featured in the very 1st Classic American magazine, it was a 5 or 6 page feature where Nick Blackledge and Tony Beadle drive my 55 Mercury Coupe from " New York to California ", it was all done in the UK and was a cool feature for a first mag. I loaned them the car for just over two weeks in order to do it and got it back in one piece ( Probably well cained, but hey ).

What I would like to know is what happened to the other cars in the 1st mag...anyone know....?

Will any of the first " Classic American " feature cars be remembered like " Henry Hirise " is....?

This is the 55 Mercury in question...?

It was used on Cilla Black's " Suprise Suprise ", along with several other yanks, including Dreamcars 53 Eldo, Neil Williams " Pepe jeans " 50 Mercury, a dark blue Plymouth Superbird and a customised Reliant Robin.

It was also featured again by Classic American in the 50th edition, kind of a follow up on how any of the cars had progressed since 1988, by which time it had been fitted with hydrolics by Andy from the executioner's.

This was my 1st too, yank that is ((())), I drive this car to Sweden to the Wheel's meet and it got featured in a mag there too... It was in either Bilsport or Wheels magazine from July to late 1988, if anyone has a copy can i copy it or buy it....?

What can you tell us..............:)
