I remember the Wyboston weekend for many reasons, firstly because i had never seen before or since such a large gathering of Tri-Chevies,and secondly because I made the mistake of leaving my camera bag on the show field.
No I didn't lose the bag or the camera inside, as they reappeared later in the evening. However, a few days later when I went into Boots to collect my prints from the weekend, I couldn't escape the feeling that the all of the staff werel ooking at me. I realised why when I looked through the photo's, with 6 or 7 of them featuring Paul, Ian and a few others with various body parts of display!
Paul later confessing to liberating my camera bag and the impromtu photo session was the next obvious event!
It was a cracking weekend and I am sure if he were still here, Paul would be laughing about the events aound the back of the marquee!

Oh Nick how right you are, he certainly would be laughing!! The camera thing was one of his party tricks (there were many) , you could never leave a camera laying around especially if you wanted to get away unscathed, I`m sure yours are not the only pictures of his body parts that were not intended by the owner!!!
It was a great weekend, and just one of my many very fond memories!! Thanks for contributing yours!!:) Val xx

Steve to accuse anyone(and i know its only Ken)of being a twin brother of Cliff Richards is to say least a bit below the belt!

I'm a little ashamed to say that I once owned the '60 T Bird convertible used in Summer Holiday. I used to tow my F1 Stock Car with it in 1966ish.
