Can't believe I've been on this forum for what seems like donkey's years and not put the T into members rides....so here goes.

Bought off a very nice man in Derby off a famous, or should that be infamous auction site for a measly figure and went on from there.

This is pretty much as I bought the T...I just added the blower. This was the first blower on the T and lasted..Hmm, about three months before twisting the rotors and self destructing.

I had owned the rod for four months before this pic was taken and this was my first trip to the HRD's.

Lining up for my second ever run on the strip

Racing again some good old boy....Signor Crust.

Trying to do burn outs with an open diff and no line lock.......

The following april and my first meet of the year at the cheshire cruise, new wheels and a very cold day....

Next place, the Nostalgia Nats and no more changes...yet.

Things move along and after some cajoling, an attempt at a better cage is fitted, along with a new blower and engine....soon to be detroyed with detonation issues .......

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/DSCF0037.jpg

At this point the engine had been dynoed at 525 hp......

Moody shot at the HRD's and looking a Bit more professional with a race suit...

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/shakey3.jpg

Another engine rebuild and 614hp without gas.....

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/th_blown400.jpg (http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/?action=view&current=blown400.flv)

Bit more cage work and wheelie bars for a modicum of safety...

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/shakey08-1-1.jpg

The addition of nitrous oxide brings about the wheelies at Santa Pod and the joy of a 9.103 timing ticket......

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/MF4M9139.jpg

And the addition of the slicks brings about the destruction of the rear end and gearbox....

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/shakeystart.jpg

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/intheair1.jpg

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/intheair4.jpg

Which was all very embarrassing......but the repairs were completed in less than a week and more track action followed, with the addition of a Borsch type wing...just a bit smaller !!

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/round111.jpg

Didn't stop the hard launches and wheelying though...

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/round112.jpg

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/round113.jpg

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/round114.jpg

So that was the end of the 2008 season and two days later...this happened, for a bit more safety....

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/Image033.jpg

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/madfield2010.jpg

And the addition of some paint....

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/newt2.jpg

And some more work.....

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e49/andyfadster/Image017.jpg

The engine has received more work and is now producing 966 hp with gas so 2009 should be one hell of a season.......

More to follow as the T gets finished and the first track tests take place..

What a machine! Thanks for posting the evolution of it, that's nice to see. This car ALWAYS makes the trip up from Cornwall worth while. All the best for the new season "thumbs up".

Good bit of insight there, great to see the evolution of the T. Love the new cage, here's hoping that it's only ever for show!
Nice one Andy,

Eeeee, one of my favourite words that.....thanks Daz ;)

Russ, Speedway mate...chrome and chrome. Not expensive, which is a good job. Last set managed to stay together for three years before falling to bits !!

Not sure about low eights but 8.60's should be achievable....:)

From the flange to where the bend drops...275mm, or just over 10 and 3/4 inches in english. This is the clear space so if your engine to outside of frame rail is within this figure, it'll fit...or should I say, these ones will fit !! Don't know how exact they are when they make 'em but I would have thought they will be machine made which takes the idiot out of the equation.

If you want a photo, let me know.

Still got to do the brakes and interior and finish tidying the wiring but should be out to the cheshire cruise next week.....

Little youtube vid just to prove it runs.

The work over winter has produced a 734 hp on the engine and 966 hp with a 200 shot of nitrous.....and a few SAFETY mods ;)
