I found this in an old copy of Custom Car going back to August 1995. Its the MK2 Consul i`ve owned for the last two years. Stock back then, now running Capri suspension and a Pinto. I know the car was originaly customed about six,seven years ago by a chap called Andy Smith from UK Kustoms, but does anyone know the car going back in the nineties? Or have any pic`s of it?

It was stock when Andy got it I think. If you send off form V888 and £5 to the DVLA they will give you all details of previous owners.

From what i remember, Andy bought the Consul with no engine or g/box

Isn't that the same thing ? If you get the history it will show the first time the engine was changed for something other than standard.

I will at some point write off to send off to DVLA, just thought i`d see if anyone knew the car from years ago or better still had some pic`s:)
Regard the the engine change, its still 1703 on the logbook:D

That reg rings bells with me ,was it purple at one point ?

Its got a purple roof now, but before its was mat black with a purple roof.
