Damn, I thought we had the worst looking 59 Cadillac convertible in the world...

It looks like its been rear ended by a Morgan or RR Silver Cloud!

Jeez! What a waste of machinery...

the turquoise pop was my late :( brothers, sold to sylvian, who painted the wings fuschia and added the alloys....my bro only sold it to finance a stay in pomona, california ......it appeared at the gt leighs nats (nasc) with a cracked windscreen (over eager braking, and apparently sylvians son with no seat belt![B)].thanks for posting, and giving me some good memories to think about bob :)

I looked at the 'before' pictures the guy had with the Caddy, and as far as I remember it had pretty well had it before he started. Not my cup of tea, but a lot of work and nicely finished. It's an origional, customised, one off car, so deserves some credit.

Hmmm... Not sure!

Surely the essence of customising is that you believe that you will improve the cars original look!

As Foose himself says, you can't improve a Cadillac so don't even try!

I mean, its great that he resurected it but I can't believe putting it back together properly would have taken more time or money, nor can I believe anyone thinks it looks better than a stocker...

It looks like the circus has hit town...

I think some of the comments on this thread are a bit strong, after all i thought that was the nature of what we do, ie to build something that we as individuals like i mean it definitely is not my thing but i can imagine remarks like that would be unplesent to read or here if you had built it .

Stew it's nice to know in this crazy world that some things never change.
