Shane Powell has one of the sign written 'pioneer, slick willy' doors.
very cool item for the garage wall.

I can remeber being a bit embarrased about taking the pictures as it was a bit of a disaster , but glad I did now .

It looked even more evil when it returned with patchy grey primer! and i think the widened rear wings were gone,and with a narrowed and lowered rear.

I remember it well Steve. It was tragic given the energy that Bob West put into that car.

Those photos bring back memories.............
That was my first visit to Blackbush, I had just finished my mk 3 Zodiac wagon........... Must have been about 1983 ?

Blimey, Bob's gone grey with worry!

I think Bob and John were still based in West Drayton when that happened, I missed the meeting, but the news got back to Harrow that night...no mobile phones then!

bob didnt share the driving on our trip to bonneville last year,,glad he didnt now ive seen those pics!!!!
