Just been told the The B52 Diner @ Southend has had a compulsary purchase order put on it by the local council. If true apparantly they want the land to build a train station to help cater for the expanding airport.
Maybe someone else on here could confirm or expand on this, I've been a couple of times for shows/meets there and had a great time, somewhere I shall certainly miss.:(
