Although this is somewhat of a History lesson.... can you help

I am writing an artical on a certain 32 three window that was around a few years back...

The car had a well known past and is indeed known by many people, it has changed hands several times and I would just like you know what you know...

The car is " Gus's " 32 from Eltham in South London, the car was mentioned a few times in the " History " threads but I would prefer it if this remained in the mainstream area as it relates to a rod.

The car was owned by Gus for over 50 years so I am told...

Rumour has it, that it has indeed gone to another owner again

Can you help...?

You need to speak to Mick Micetech, as he bought it from Gus's widow.

I was shown this car when I was 12 years old by my older brother, I used to pop round and show my friends when we were out on our BMX bikes, although most of them didnt have a clue what it was, it was my way of getting them interested in the old car scene, some followed suit, some didn't...

I once spoke to Gus, I drove around to Katherine Gardens in Eltham in my MK1 Consul not long after I had passed my test and Gus had a MK1 too, he came out as I was showing a mate the car, he spotted us through the window.

He did talk about the 32, but explained that many many people had tried to buy it over the years, and he showed me a paper clipping that was on the front seat of the car.... It had him and the 32 in the feature from back in the 50's

Anyone got any pic's :)

I met Gus a few times & saw the car in Keith Pope's workshop in Sydenham once when he was looking at getting a new front clip put in. Looked nice from a distance, but was a real tatty wreck up close!

Here's 2 pix of said 32 at 'Romance of Rust' a few years ago.Every panel at the back had rot!!A new trunk lid was bought. I don't think the work was completed before the 32 moved on. Lance will tell you about its condition.I think Dean Micetich was having the work done.

The body is as Terry said in Kent, the chassis with a cad motor in it now is under a sedan body. Both of these are with forum members.

Was that the "patinaed" black one (with red axle?) that Dean/Mick had at that kustom kulture art show a few years ago? Might have taken a photo or two of it.
