Awww Nuts! Woes of an 100E

Mmmm not the day i had planned.

HAD planned to take my 100E out to show a mate and have a cruise.

Got all of 4 mile from home and the rad let loose.

.........., day ruined and more money to find for a new rad

As it happens GAZ are sorting the struts as we speak. Going down 3" all round. Sitting about right in that pic though!

Funnily enough, mine broke down today too, must be the day for it! Soon diagnosed and solved the problem though:o.

i got a nos standard 100e rad you can have for 50quid can take to swap meet if you want....

Sent you a pm but think i may have sorted it so ignore the pm for now. I'll let you in the next few days if any different.

Had a closer look and think it was the bottom hose and not the rad. The hose was split and showering the bottom of the rad.
Banged on a spare hose , topped up rad and let tick over for 15 mins.
Just been out in it for an quick evening drive and apart from the carb needing a tickle all's good again. For today.:cool: Old cars eh , who'd have them!
