after the 32 build off...its all a bit quiet here. The dining room table can actually be used to sit down at and eat.......the untold little bits of plastic that fell on the floor have been removed......so im bored.
I purchased the Don Prudhommes "Wynns Winder" about 10 years ago and got it started......and then did nowt to it. Having moved around a few times i thought i'd lost the rest of the kit.The other day while searching through a box which i dont think had been opened in ages....i found the missing body panels and the rest of the parts to complete :D:D:D

Needs a hell of a clean up though and im gonna replace the the steering and suspension with metal parts as they have "sagged".............. and the tyres have slight flat spots from being stood....do that then then paint it. :)

I've got a thing for 1/16th dragster kits and also have that Prudhomme car along with a few others.
Interesting to see the sagging Jase, I may well build mine using metal when I finally get some some modelling time.

Just got the new Revell 57 Chevy 150 black widow kit. Looks very good, looks like it shares some parts with their 56. You get a roll bar but no back seat (just like a real b w), but cant help thinking it should have been a 210 or bel air.
I've got a thing for 1/16th dragster kits and also have that Prudhomme car along with a few others.
Me too!. I`ve got all of the F/E cars, but not to keen on the R/E cars though. The nicest ones are the Beebe & Mulligan "Fighting Irish" which is one of the most beautifull full size F/E cars of all time, and the Tony Nancy car.
They`re part of over 300 + kits that I`ve collected over the years, the main bulk of which are Rods along with a few oddball things that have taken my fancy at the time. One of which is the Testors 1/4 scale Dodge Hemi motor. It features lots of moving internal parts like the crank, rods, pistons, cam and full valve train complete with real metal valve springs. One heck of a kit of 300 + parts JUST for one motor...

Just had a Lindberg 1/8th Bobtail T arrive. Only the third kit ive done for years. Completed a 1/8th size 32 roadster , then a Revell 51 Angia. Like the bigger kits and the 32 looks great on top of my toolbox in the garage gathering dust! Looking forward to building the T. Fancy a large nostalga slingshot rail to build next.

This is the "Wynns Winder" rail that i started to build back in 95 (i posted a few pics before). I worked out it was 95 because of an old photo i found of me sat there messing with it.......anyhow, its in need of a take apart and rebuild. The glue had dried out, some of the plastic had warped and the dining room table that was cleaned afer the 32 build is now covered again lol. LOADS of dust and dirt on it.......chassis been cleaned up now and reglued.....engine apart......start again:D
