My name is Sue Manners , I led a very sheltered life till I met Mr Lang , didn't really know what a hotrod was till 5 years ago . Didn't take me long to get involved with the hobby , which I love , really I took to it like a duck to water !
Did my apprenticeship driving Steve's T Bucket for 2 seasons but couldn't wait for my very own car.
Brought my model A Roadster in 2003 , which Steve was going to rebuild as the parts alone were worth what i paid for it.
We went to L A , I saw a roadster pickup at Donut Deralicts which I loved , Steve asked me did I wanted a pickup instead of the roadster , 14 months later she was on the road . I'm very passionate over my rod as it was built special for me .
Steve has always said that my pickup was built as a labour of love , don't know how I should have taken that !
I've never met so many nice people that have become good friends , it's such a great social scene .
