Hi,
anybody know who might have a mallory 609 module for a magnetic distributor(460 ford) in stock?
tried real steel,v8 tuner,performance unlimited.real steel can get 1 but the container isnt coming in until the end of the month.was hoping to take my car to old warden.

I had the same problem about 6 weeks ago, no one had one then either - order it from summit direct and you will have it next week.

the mallory 6100m is a better and far less expensive replacement, real steel did have them in stock a little while ago about £28 plus postage...................

they told me that wouldnt do?i asked for any alternatineve options and there was none?

the 6100M is for a replacement module in series 37, 38, 47, 45, 46, 24 dizzys and replaces the 605 ignition module.

the 609 is a replacement module in series 50, 57 dizzys and the 6100M doesnt work in the magentic dizzys.

If your module is fried you shoudl think about using a mallory power filter to stop it being spiked.
