I just want to say a real big thankyou to everyone that brought there 32 ford build off models to be displayed in the Nsra hospitality tent for the build off, it was brill and had an amazing response!! im so looking forward to cracking on with the next one!!
I would like to say a huge thankyou to Steve its a real shame you couldn't be there and for all the other kind peeps that brought models to put on the stand as well.... What a buzz it was to see so many people come and have a look and re-spark an interest to everyone that looked.
I have to also say a big thankyou to everybody that came to say hello that did the build off, just remember your models next year!!!:D:D

Planning is well on the way for the next model build off, i can tell you that it starts on the 1st November and so you can start looking for the next kit now, get yourself a 1:24/1:25 pre 49 kit,, any you like! but i wouldn't start building it as the category's of what the build off will be wont be released until just before the 1st of November!! but i will tell you something this year I'm running an under 16's category so if your kids want to have a go get them a 1:24/1:25 pre 49 kit too!! but like i say you will have to wait till nearer the time till you know what your building!!! but at least now you will have plenty of time to get the kit in, so have a look and see what you fancy what your building for the next one.
Many thanks to you all,
Take care,
Martin.

On behalf of the committee and the club i would like to say a huge Thankyou to Martin for the whole concept and inseption of the model contest, and for the work you have put into organising the whole thing. Its a big benefit to the club and i think what most dont realise is that you do it all yourself , the only thing the committee do is supply the weird and wondeful display stand :D.

Thankyou Martin your input and dedication is massively appreciated.

Thankyou Darran I really appreciate that, its amazing the response it has had and I have to say, I love doing it, i feel there is no longer that gap that has been missing for so long. Thankyou to all the Committee for all your support with the model contest, the response at the supernationals was astounding! even people from France and Sweden that came in to look loved the models and took loads of pictures of them and the stand, that made my weekend that did.
I will bring some tape and glue for the model stand next year :D!!
