Hi All,
Well, 40 years young this year.
Started liking cars when I bought street machine when I was at school back in the early 80's....
Always loved pop's but my first car was a Cortina MK3 which I mildly customised with welded up indicators, velour interior and bonnet bulges, wolfies etc etc...
Then bought me an unfinished 1936 Ford8 which had a triumph straight 6 fitted, never did get it going!! (apparently now residing in Cornwall)
Then that had to go so I started just buying and selling cars like they were going out of fashion, mainly Ford's but a few others slipped through the net..
More corty's, Escorts, karman ghia's (2), minis, kitcar van!, 3 rover sdi's and then decided to build a car from scratch.
So I went to buy an Eagle Jeep, went to the factory and didn't like the way it drove so on the way home I spent my money on a Dutton Phaeton which went from an 1100 ford to a Rover v8 manual in the 2 years I owned it.
That was the first car I built from scratch and although it came with a build manual, it didnt tell you what to do to fit a V8 in it!!!!

Then I got into bikes and built a GS550 street fighter and ran that for a while whilst still messing with normal cars (accident damaged money makers.)
Then 1 ex wife later got back into classic cars and fun modifications!!!!
built a MK1 cortina with a 1760 stage 2 xflow with 5 speed box to annoy the locals and then got offered HFH840 which was my blue anglia (now CJH's).
Messed with a MK3 Zephyr, was going to Kustom it but a fellow UKK member bought it and now runs that..
Then rebuilt an Edsel wagon with air bags fitted, sold it and bought my present car, the 1953 Buick.....
Fitted bags on that, re-wired it and drove it for a year before winning the Dodge 1941 truck at the NASC nats..
In the mean time I have striped the Buick totally to a box of bits in the attempt of fully rebuilding it as a wild Kustom for 2008!
whilst also doing a couple of Moggy travellers for the wife.(seemed like a fair swap).

By day I trade as a technical sales rep for a large electronics components distributor selling high brightness LED's.
I am a qualified electronics design engineer but it bores me, cars are more interesting!
;)

anyway, thats me!
chat soon,
