This is how my interior looks at the moment. The door cards are going to be recovered not sure whether to do them plain like they are now or in tuc and roll. The inner arches will also be getting covered as well as the front kick panels.

A period accessory like that makes all the difference in a finished project, treat it with care...
...or, I'll take it off your hands if you want. ;)

Should I keep turning right Chris, or turn left when I get to the end? - Is this thread in danger of going off topic?
This is the interior on our old Pop.

All the gauges are smiths taken from a Triumph 2000 or simular model.
To mount the gauges I made up L shaped brackets which bolt to the original gauge mounting points on the dash then used jubilee clips to clamp round the gauges and L brackets to hold them in place. They all fit from behind the dash as the gauge holes are to small to push through from the front. Also made a new loom for all the gauges so it will all unplug as one unit if the dash has to come out.
Mine's a bit dated now but very comfy
Here's mine is at the moment, still needs a parcel shelf and carpeting.

Hmm, might be with crumble on this one... the shell effect on the seats reminds me of this botticelli painting... although, now I think about it, the interior could be improved with the simple addition of a naked chic;)
And forget the phones - what's the TV / Cash register / very small computer in the passenger footwell ?

With an interior that bland, you gonna need something to do on a long journey, hence the
TV / Cash register / very small computer thing in the foot well and the phones. :-)

It rings no bells with me either Ian. I think the wheel and column may be as built but I think I would have remembered the door panels in particular, unless of course your mate Jack D was paying a visit at the time. Then again, when are we talking about? Would we have paid attention? Just remember, we all thought that the deep buttoned interior and leopardskin headliner in 'Street Oddesey' was the biz at the time. I'm sure someone will be along in a while with some pics from back then, failing that, a guy at work is a big time Beatles geek, so he's bound to have the McCartney video for me to take a look at.
I put up a couple of pics of Street Odyssey's interior earlier on in this thread, for a lot of people in these here parts the interior is what they remember most and I gotta say if it'd of had turned up with it in I think I may well have left it as is! I think it dissapeared in the mid 80's although the gear shift still sat way back when I bought it... You almost had to sit in the boot to select 1st! lol
