This isn't easy, but the tax man's starting to get a bit heavy & this is the only thing I've got that's worth a few bob. It might be an idea to get a cup of tea/can of lager now as you're going to be a while.
Body.
Steel '30 Tudor sedan in excellent condition cut into tub, not your average O* Sk**l R*ds hatchet job, door tops are thinned out, has a roadster screen & posts. Genny steel 4 piece bonnet, all four fenders, splash aprons & running boards, grille shell & headlight bar. Doors fitted with Escort bearclaw locks, hinges repinned. Good set of running board brackets, fender braces, set of bonnet catches. Right hand drive '64 Galaxy dash part narrowed to suit, it wraps around into the doors which is pretty cool. In the photos below the car's only mocked up, the body has now been fitted to an excellent original sub rail, the doors shut with a lovely clunk.
Chassis/running gear.
Genny Model A chassis, fully boxed. Denning dropped & drilled Model A I beam, reversed A spring, new Speedway batwings, lower shock brackets & hairpins, dropped steering arms reamed for ball joints, Model A spindles machined for Cortina hubs/discs. PC Cresta rear axle, box section ladder bars. The rear end isn't mounted. Complete, good running Pinto with 5 speed box, has 60psi oil pressure, new clutch. Engine/box not mounted. '51 Olds rear wheels with L78x15s wide whites, 15cwt Thames steels with 5.60x15s. Some parts that go with it but aren't fitted; Pop pedals/mount, recon Pinto rad, Mk2 Consul steering box, handbrake lever. Bound to have forgotten stuff but you get the idea.
Pair of Minor seats that've been retrimmed in black vinyl with cream piping, matching door & kick panels. The rear of the body has a ply tonneau covered in white vinyl.
As you can see, this has great potential for a four seat, family rod & would be pretty straightforward to finish, I think you'd wait a fair while before you parked next to another one too.
I'm asking £4750 but I'm not easily insulted, I'm also able to deliver if needed. Probably best to email me at angliaal1@ntlworld.com
