Hi all, I am in desperate need of the seal/washer that is on the float height adjuster on a Holley, you know the one, it's got a stupid inner hole shape, and goes between the adjuster and the bowl...
Please ring me if you have a 'spare' one 07584135088

Got loads of gaskets and small parts but not sure if I have what you want. Are they the small metal washers. Don't really want to take mine out to see.

Erm, no pic, sorry, the one I made a few weeks ago I must have chucked in the bin... :(
It a fibre type washer, fit's under the float adjuster (5/8 spanner size) and goes over the actual brass adjuster in the bowl, seals the 5/8 nut to the boss on the bowl, it has a rounded off rectangular hole in the middle instead of just a normal hole.
None of our washers at work 'work' as it has to seal around the rounded rectangle, and ours are too thick too...
Let me have a 'google'....

Looks a bit like that!!!!
Where are all the kids when you need them to draw something on the computer???
:o
Is it definitely not a simple fibre washer? I've just ahd a look in a couple of Holley kits, and although they were opened, neither had any washers like that. The ones under the nut are just washers.

Sure the original one had the weird hole in the middle.
None of our fibre washers at work are any good, they are too thick, they won't allow the adjuster to lock onto the brass part...
I had a quick look through a couple of Holley destruction sheets last night and in the parts diagrams they looked like round holes. There were some very thin black fibre washers in the kits - I've got some old carbs somewhere so will have a look tonight to see what they have.

the hole in the top of the float bowl is round (the adjuster has to screw into it) so a normal shape washer will work. i've used those red coloured fibre washers in the past and had no problems. neil.
Guy, just got my spare float bowl out. The washer is roundmate. Sits directly on the bowl surface.
