what was the difference between a export fordson and a none export? i know they had 16" wheels and 10hp engine. what type of grill would it have? a 1- 2 or 3 hole?

Just been studying my ref books John, and i can not find any reference to export grill variations on the comercials, here it was 7y single hole grill from 1945 to 1948,and two hole pop/anglia grill from 1948 on (which you probably already knew John).I can only assume exports were supplied with the same grills as in the UK, as being comercial vehicles Ford would not think to try and make them special.
I know you will see vans fitted all three styles of grill in other countries but it does not mean that they were built with them.
unless anybody has proof to the contrary------------------------------

Thanks Kev, it would appear that the USA bound vans were fitted with the three hole grill minus the chrome trim, whilst alll other export vans had the two hole

well i didnt happen brian as the owner now needs another month to think about it, (he as been nearly 5 months thinking about it already) even tho he agreed a price on it last weekend. what a time waster this guy is or what. i did find out that its a 2 hole grill on it after all, but on the bright side i found a real nice pop just down the road from me been tucked away in a garage for over 10 years right next door to my mate who was unaware it was their even he has lived their for 6 years. so it look like i will be getting that home in the week.
then you know what will happen when iam half way throught the build of that! lol
