looks nice and clean that one calum.
I was just going to add that too ! looks well looked after
Blimey Calum, that's mint!
Restorers cap on, is it an Anglia body? Bonnet has Anglia trims and the side vents and trafficators are in the same position as the Anglias. Sorry to be a geek.
If your looking to buy a Pop/Anglia and it's an older restoration always make sure the owner has pics of the job. The history for mine was faded but it looked good. Now i'm not so sure though....

Seconded, you are going to spend more time and money on a rod than a restoration,so use the best body you can, after all a mint low miles car is of no use to a restorer:D

I just assumed it's a 103E Pop. It's on the log book as a 1955 Ford Popular. It does have a heater fitted. Added some more pics to see if there's anything else out of the norm.
Vince, you, Karen and the girls are welcome up to sample Glasgow's unique weather anytime. I just thought u suffered nosebleeds if u went past Watford? lol

Interesting thread lads but it got me thinking about my agreed insurance whats the going price of a rodded pop these days? i know you see the odd one on flebay but some are just put on for silly money in a hope that someone will go for it, what do you all think then for a four pot, then say a v6 and then a nice v8? i got mine for 2K and have agreed value of 4K. but i bet it would cost all of that to build again if the worst happened.
crumble
02-02-08, 04:58 PM
a lot depends on the build of the car. you could buy a v8 pop for say 4k and then you could have one pro built for 25k plus. so a lot depends on the build of the car. one could have a stock rover in it the over could have a blown big block ect ect. so their is no hard and fast fixed prices on insurace prices.
