Hi everyone, good to be here!

New Forum = new name - LimeyHotRodGirl (formerly known as FAT GIRL on old NSRA Forum) checkin’ in as required by Forum Rules and as everyone who knows me knows I ‘always’ do as I am told!!!!
My name is Ali (Alison)Taylor, I am 50 years old. Some of you may know me better by the name Ali Aspinall as I was involved with the NSRA from 1992 till 2000.
My first Hot Rod experience was Belle Vue Show, Manchester in 1976 (prior to that I was into a different sort of horse power – the 4 legged variety! Been hooked ever since and I hope that never changes.
I managed to persuade Chris (Happydaze) to marry me a few years ago – boy was his arm twisted high up his back!! We got 3 grown up sons between us with only one following in our footsteps – Jonnies 100E.

I am told I own a ’36 Ford 5 window but to date seem to spend most of the time sitting in the passenger seat – but I can be patient as this will change when Happydaze gets his ‘32 Roadster sorted.
I consider myself a very, very lucky Hot Rod Girl to be with Chris ‘cos we shipped our ’32 roadster out to the USA a few years ago and have spent 7 weeks each year since driving around and having fun! Roadster has been in loads of US States and this summer we went to Canada for the trip of a lifetime (imo). We have put just over 20,000 miles on the speedo since we shipped it out in 2004 with no end in sight………………. Maybe one day I’ll bore you all silly with ‘our’ hot rod holiday pics.
