Nope, that's the camshaft one, the cylinder head one is around £126!!!
There is one on eBay for about £48 but I'm tight!!

Think i paid around £25 years ago, must be the only investment i've ever made in hotrod stuff !!!

Used to know him when he was here, before he emigrated. He was a regular at Santa Pod in the 60s & early 70s & used to wring some pretty impressive times out of whatever he drove at the time.

I do, but unfortunately, although he's coming over next week, I can't really ask him because he's coming back for a funeral.

I have a couple of Vizard books, I'll have a look and see what they are when it's light! I think from memory they are the how to build HP ones but I'm also sure there was a lot given over to his 4 down draft carbed small block which may be of some use.

There's 2 on ebay at present at around $78 ea plus shipping, but I resent paying that much for a book which cost around $25 new. I guess it's an indication of how sought after it is!

For some reason I just had a vision of a race engineer somewhere in the States buying up all the old copies of this book and burning them to try and keep the edge on all the other SBC builders..LMFAO
