Thinking of having the reflectors re-silvered in my headlights.
Anyone using a reflector from a different car? Must still contain sidelight and I would like to use the original lens.

Steve Goodridge did an article in Street Machine on Project Pop doing that very thing. ,I think it used Golf headlight silvere ? Anyway , I know a few on here have a copy of it scanned so shouldn't be long now !

Got a price off Keith (popman).....just looking at other options.
Plus I'm not sure that a 12v bulb is available for the original light. S.F.Spares don't offer one.
Thanks Kev, I'll hold off venturing into the loft for a while then!!

There is a halogen version of the old pre-focus bulbs. I have them in mine and DAMN it's got good headlights! I really can't remember where I got them from but I can probably be remembered with a bit of poking about.

Mine are VW Polo. You have to smash the glass and get it all out the way then it'll go in the Anglia rim using the standard Ford clips. Pop Brown do a 12v convertion for the original Anglia reflector.

Hi Guy's,
I've just been through my Pop Project articles, as I have them marked up still, however I can't seem to find any info regarding the headlamps at the moment. I took my scans off of my computer, so I will have to look through my stash of Street Machines to see if I can find the article that you require.
This may take a while,
Cheers,
Mike C.

These are the 60/55W halogen bulbs I have, direct swap for the old 6V 30/24W ones: http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/508

Like I said, they work an absolute treat. Better than the lights on her Renault.

I'm sure Steve Goodridge used Volvo 340 headlights in his article.

I can supply 12 v and 6 v Q H BULBS TO FIT YOUR ORIDGENAL BULBE HOLDERS SO THAT YOU CAN USE ALL YOUR ORIDGENAL PARTS ( at least you will keep it looking original and still be able to see OK ) popman

Hi Paul,
Sorry for the delay, I've been real busy getting my Pop ready for a fire up this weekend. I have looked through all of my Street Machine mags, and unfortunately I can't find the article. So I have failed I'm afraid, although I still can't remember the article. I still have all of the articles marked up, and together, so I'm a bit puzzled.

I hope you get your lights sorted.
Cheers,
Mike C.
