I've got the screen frame and hinges, but I need the regulator nob and operating mechanism for behind the dashboard. :eek:

Julian at Pop parts plus had a couple of mechanism's the last time I looked round his stall, as far as I know they are the same as Prefect, Pilot & American 35/36 Fords, I got one for my 35 coupe the only difference was there was a piece that screwed on to extend the handle through the dash on the UK version, the handles are available as repro items from the US from Bob Drake, Vintique or similar suppliers, the mechanism's come up for sale on US ebay but are normally very expensive, if you don't have one & don't know what they look like I can take a photo of mine for you, hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I'd love to see a photo if you have one as all I know is that they are a bit like a car scissor jack arrangement. I'll also give the PPP guys a call tomorrow and check out their ever changing stock!

PM me your email address and I will send you some pictures, also I said you could get repro handles from the US but looking at the extension piece I'm not sure they would fit as the US one is splined not sure about the UK version, it should all be clear when you see the photo's
